Some months ago you graciously posted your electronic support of our efforts in securing approvals from the McHenry County Board Members to transform a 97 acre property, and its former Retreat and Conference Center, into a beautiful Catholic senior living community. And, that support was well appreciated!
We are set to begin pre-construction marketing of the upcoming availability of our Christian faith-based Retirement Village; but please, a resident need not be Catholic as a pre-requisite for entrance! And, since you invested your time to voice your initial support, we considered it fitting to first share with you Resurrection's upcoming availability.
The first phase will be the transformation of the existing building into 36 independent living, and "floating" assisted living, suites. Views of the property's wetlands, prairies, and oak savanna can be seen and enjoyed form all thirty six condo style suites; but, of course, some have a slightly enhanced view of the parcel's natural assets.
The resident common areas will also be created in the development of that first phase. A re-configuration of the Chapel, where daily Mass will be celebrated, will sit in the heart of the community. But, in addition to the Spiritual dimension, the community will similarly host community/relational building amenities for residents to enjoy with each other, and their families and friends. Amenities such as: a small theatre fitted with Wii games, a fitness facility designed for the senior, a bistro and pub for residential use and their guests, a hair salon, onsite banking, private party and game rooms for residents and their guests, a small retail corner for convenience items, walking trails, a screened pond house, and the like!
The second phase will see the development of beautiful "sanctuary style" independent living duplexes and villas nestled in the midst of the property's natural beauty. And, the third phase will see the additional availability of assisted living suites and a memory care facility.
For more information either for yourself or a loved one, please call the Village's pre-reservation office at (815) 338-1032 and ask for either Patti Carty or Father Glen Baptiste...either of us will happily show you in greater detail the beauty of this proposed faith-based Community.
